His face opened up when I asked him if he was a musician. He could not stop talking about music. “We play dancehall, reggaeton, that kind of stuff.”



This charming lady was on her way to a bridge drive. Her neighbour is a photographer and once took her picture. “I used to be quite attractive, you know.”


His distinguished look draw my attention. He was out for a walk in the city centre. “I am the director of Historisch Museum. At the moment we have an exhibition about how fashion is related to working clothes.”


He has four daughters and a lung condition. He goes for a swim every week and beats his friends in swimming under water. After the WWII bombing he helped collecting and cleaning the bricks to rebuild the “Grote Kerk” cathedral. “Now I have to pay to get in. That does not make sense, does it?”
